Lion
Brand Yarn
Lion Brand is a family-owned and operated business and a beloved
American brand since 1878. As the fifth generation of Blumenthals
joins the business, it is a true passion for yarn, shared by all our
associates, that is the secret to Lion Brand’s success.
Year after year we drive innovation in the yarn business and
pursue excellence in the quality of our products.
Lion Brand is renowned for its pattern support, which is a source of
inspiration for yarn lovers. We offer patterns to the public through
magazines, branded books with major publishers, as well as our web
site, which offers nearly 2,000 patterns.
The Lion Brand web site is the most visited site on the Internet of
those that feature yarn. Over 1 million weekly e-newsletter
subscribers receive up-to-date information about new products,
information about knit, crochet and craft techniques and special
offers, as well as knitting stories, e-cards, and a popular comic
called Lola.
Lion Brand yarns are available throughout the United States in
craft chains, discount chains and internationally in 19 countries.
You may also purchase our yarns directly from our web site.
